OBJECTIVE
Collaborate with Urban Outfitters to host their 31st Anniversary in Uptown Minneapolis, implementing a community based strategy by featuring local artists as vendors.
APPROACH
Skntones leveraged its extensive network to market the event while creating exclusive skntones x UO content. The agency's innovative content not only gained recognition by being featured on the UO mainpage but also initiated meaningful conversations with the UO home office. This distinct approach set a precedent for event marketing within the UO Mrkt events. As a result of Skntones' successful campaign, a long term Artist residency program was established,granting members of Skntones' creative lab an exclusive opportunity for collaboration and creativity within the UO store in MPLS.
RESULTS
Sales generated on March 28th, 2021, surpassed the Black Friday sales from 2020, showcasing the event's exceptional success. Skntones' strategic approach was highlighting their creative lab during the event and helped establish a meaningful relationship with UO, transforming the large company into a dynamic community space where artists and creatives converged.
